Yorkshire Dialect Society AGM and Canal Boat Trip, June 29th

This  year’s AGM is being held in tandem with what has become the  annual narrow boat escapade from Shepley Marina, Mirfield, WF 14 9HR – the canal boat trip is from 1100 to 1700 and there is no charge (donations welcome – please visit the Safe Anchor Trust website – www. safeanchor.org.uk).

The AGM is scheduled to follow the canal trip at 1730 and will be held at the same venue (Safe Anchor Boathouse). Anchor Trust founder member, Derek Brierley, will be giving a talk about the Safe Anchor Trust Charity, its history, achievements and aims. Light refreshments will be available.
